MIX: Dirty South Joe – ENTRAPMENT

As per usual, I’m a couple weeks late on this. This is one of those rare occasions where a request to post something wasn’t in my mailbox, and I just stumbled across a mix on my facebook wall. Joe and I are quite friendly, particularly on them internets, so I downloaded and forgot about it.

I had some time this week and finally got around to listening to this. Usually mixes get sifted through and forgotten about or deleted, and I listened to this one all the way through… twice.

This mix is simply eclectic, and effortlessley bounces from trap to dubstep to baltimore club… it reminded me of everything I loved about the whole Philly / NYC mashup scene 5-6 years ago. But with high bitrate gems. Joe was entrenched in that scene though. It shows.
