]]> By: Hybu http://generationbass.com/2009/09/28/dubstep-tango-has-finally-arrived/#comment-1328 Hybu Sat, 03 Oct 2009 15:00:30 +0000 http://generationbass.com/?p=9326#comment-1328 My first tango dubstep intent is now far away, it’s sad because i can’t find it anymore… it was done in like 2004-2005 with a bandoneon sample find somehere in my father tango collection… Done after having heard Symbad from Horsepower Productions, i thought there was a real DUB feeling in the breathe of the bandoneon and than no one had tried yet to mix tango and electronic music (in my known) except perhaps Gotan Project that i always thought they was too clich√©…

Then i heard grime riddims (mainly Dexplicit, Imp Batch ones) and thought it could be interesting to mix agressive chopped beats with this dub breathing… >> step to tango… Funny you are talking about it 4 years after i did it… i still like it and always feel it’s potential… I’m really happy some people finally saw it !
