My fellow Dutchman DICK EL DEMASIADO/DICK VERDULT has been working on his own brand of experimental cumbia for a couple of years. Releasing several albums with strange wacked out cumbia, he has also set up the CUMEX scene and festival, so it’s a matter of time before he appeared on this blog right? I wanted to share 2 cuts with you, which are among my favorites of his catalogue. I’m not really into the arty casiotone version of cumbia/cumex he produces, but there are GEMS among the material, FO SURE!
